Junior golf tournaments are held throughout the year in Mid and South Canterbury. To find out when these tournaments are please check out www.aorangigolf.org.nz.

• Parents are welcome to stay and watch their kids throughout the coaching or help out on the golf course with caddying or providing assistance with the club professional.
• Junior Golf Clubs and Golf Balls are provided by the Club Professional which were happily donated by ANZ Bank. We have all sizes to fit from 5yrs up to 12yrs old. You can purchase junior golf clubs at the Ashburton Pro Shop. Price range is $249.00 to $499.00.

Getting Started at Golf is a new intervention into developing the younger generation of golfers using modified golf clubs tailored to make golf easy, fun and safer to learn and make the experience more enjoyable.

The Ashburton Golf Junior classes run on every Sunday except school holidays.

This year at the Ashburton Golf Club we are purchasing new Golf Club shirts for the Men and Women members of the golf club. In addition to that we will be asking all junior golfers to also have an Ashburton Golf Club Polo Shirt for our junior golf coaching sessions each week. The Ashburton Golf Club will be subsidising the cost of the polo shirts.

• Cost is $70.00 per junior + $20.00 per Junior Club Shirt. (Please email me your kid’s shirt size if you would like to purchase one).
• Anyone who is unavailable to attend please let me know.
